El Gouna Film Festival Announces Third Rising Stars Cohort

Egypt's El Gouna Film Festival has revealed the third cohort of its CineGouna Emerge Rising Stars program, selecting five emerging talents from across the Arab world. The chosen participants include Egyptian director Abdallah Dnewar, Saudi Arabian writer-director Razan AlSoghayer, Palestinian filmmaker Omar Rammal, Palestinian Jordanian director-producer Asmahan Bkerat, and Syrian cinematographer, editor, and director Rama Abdi.

The program aims to support and develop early-career filmmakers from the region through mentorship, workshops, and industry connections during the festival. Each participant brings a distinct creative background, representing a diverse range of voices from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Jordan, and Syria.
