Mumbai Shorts International names a jury heavy on editors
The competition jury this year is three editors and one programmer. The festival says it wants films that cut, not only films that premiere.

Mumbai Shorts International announced a jury that spends its working life in the edit suite. The message to submitting directors is blunt: concept alone will not carry a slot.
The festival’s competition remains open to films under thirty minutes, with a stated preference for work that has not premiered in India. A separate strand will show distribution case studies from the previous edition’s laureates.
Deadlines are listed on the festival site. The desk will publish the selected slate when it locks.
