The Tokyo International Film Festival has unveiled its full competition lineup, selecting 15 features for the main section. Seven of those titles will screen as world premieres, highlighting the festival's role in launching new work on the global stage.

Indonesian director Garin Nugroho will present his historical drama Red Before Dawn, while Macedonian filmmaker Milcho Manchevski debuts Sister Brother Manhole Cover. Chinese director Qiu Jiongjiong also has a world premiere in the lineup, adding to the strong Asian representation.

The festival runs in Tokyo later this month, offering industry professionals and audiences a first look at these anticipated titles. The competition jury will award the Tokyo Grand Prix among other honors at the closing ceremony.
